As you can see our village of Santpedor is in a beautiful situation surrounded by lovely scenery.This is the heart of Catalonia and is a region strongly in favour of The Catalan Republic and independence. Hopefully this will soon be a reality.

The geographical situation means that you can get to both the coast and the mountains in less than one hour.The capital city of Barcelona is easily accessible by road and rail.

We have been travelling for 40 years and have visited 112 countries.The title of the blog reflects our philosophy of life.Every country we have visited remains in our memories so we consider the money spent is a worthwhile investment. 

In addition to the 112 countries we have also visited the 7 continents.We feel that travelling is an enormously  enriching experience. What we most enjoy is seeing the cultural differences which vary a great deal among the world's regions.
